Sales Development Representative (SDR/BDR/ADR)

About the role

Taxcart is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its global sales team. Working remotely from any location, you will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities for ecommerce and SaaS customers, helping the company expand its tax‑automation platform worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify target companies in the ecommerce and SaaS sectors.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow up inbound leads through calls, emails and social outreach.
• Qualify prospects, run discovery calls and nurture relationships until a meeting is booked for an Account Executive.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM and collaborate on territory planning.
• Meet weekly activity and pipeline targets while providing market feedback to product and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Proven inside‑sales experience with both outbound and inbound prospecting.
• Strong lead‑generation and pipeline‑building abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Goal‑oriented mindset, resilient and eager to learn from feedback.
• Experience in SaaS, fintech or tax‑compliance solutions is a plus.
• Relevant tertiary education in business, commerce or a related field is preferred.
