Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role

Outbounda is a fractional go-to-market team that builds predictable pipeline for B2B companies without requiring them to hire an in-house SDR team. It designs and runs end-to-end outbound systems, including research, data, sequencing and multi-channel campaigns across email, LinkedIn and phone. This is a full-time, on-site Sales Development Representative role based in Sydney, NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Research target accounts and identify key contacts
• Execute structured outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn and phone
• Manage prospecting workflows and personalize outreach
• Handle initial discovery conversations and book qualified meetings for client sales teams
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales engagement tools
• Follow up consistently with prospects and collaborate with internal team members to refine messaging and improve campaign performance
• Share insights from prospect conversations to help optimise client go-to-market strategies

Required profile

• Experience handling outbound prospecting and initial sales conversations
• Ability to identify, qualify and nurture B2B opportunities
• Strong communication skills, including clear written outreach, confident phone presence and active listening
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment focused on outbound activity and meeting targets
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams while owning individual pipeline goals
• Relevant education or training in business, marketing, communications or a related field is an advantage

Required skills

• Inside sales and lead generation
• Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Outreach is preferred
