About the role

Vocus is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our Melbourne team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, helping to build a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach and lead qualification.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer calls and respond to leads promptly and professionally.
  • Generate and qualify new leads via outbound calls, emails, and social media.
  • Schedule discovery appointments for Account Managers or Business Development Managers.
  • Follow up with prospects to ensure satisfaction and uncover cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to share field insights and feedback.
  • Leverage digital tools and AI to adopt a data‑driven approach.

Required profile

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Confidence engaging decision‑makers and handling rejection.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and persistent.

Required skills

  • Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
