Sales Development Representative

About the role

Law In Order, a global supplier of document and digital solutions to the legal industry, is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its growing sales team. The role is highly phone-based and focuses on growing the existing client base by engaging with developing, low-spend and dormant accounts. It offers a clear pathway into Client Relationship Manager and Strategic Account Manager positions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to existing clients and re-engage inactive, low-spending accounts
• Run customer care and account check-in calls to understand satisfaction and identify opportunities
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services such as Transcription, eHearings, eDiscovery, Document Production, Mailouts & Managed Services
• Generate qualified meetings for the senior sales team and manage a portfolio of developing and low-spending accounts
• Run structured prospecting and follow-up campaigns and identify new contacts and decision-makers
• Maintain accurate client information and opportunities in Salesforce and track opportunities through the sales process
• Work with Client Relationship Managers and service specialists, share market intelligence and support account retention

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales or account management
• Experience working towards activity, sales or revenue targets
• Resilient, organised and results-driven, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Full working rights in Australia; pre-employment checks including a national police check are required

Required skills

• Exceptional verbal communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence and enthusiasm when talking to clients over the telephone
• Strong organisational and time-management skills and attention to detail
• Experience using Salesforce CRM is advantageous but not essential
• Experience in professional services, legal services or technology is advantageous
