Sales Consultant – Education & Training

About the role

Australian Institute of Management (AIM) is recruiting Sales Consultants for its Future Skills Sales team. You will help prospective students and corporate clients choose learning and development solutions from AIM's portfolio of short courses and qualifications, supported by a steady pipeline of leads.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with prospects through inbound and outbound calls, engage warm leads and identify new opportunities
• Understand customer needs and career or professional development goals
• Recommend solutions from AIM's portfolio of short courses and qualifications
• Convert opportunities into enrolments through consultative selling and follow-up
• Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM and exceed sales targets
• Build product knowledge to communicate the value of AIM's education and training

Required profile

• Ideally at least 2 years in outbound telesales, phone-based sales or a high-volume sales environment
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication skills, resilience, self-motivation and organisational skills
• Experience using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce; education, training or professional development experience is a bonus
