Salary Packaging Consultant (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

FleetPartners is seeking a Salary Packaging Consultant on a 12‑month contract to support both external and internal salary packaging services. You will operate the salary packaging tool, provide advice to clients, and ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the Salary Packaging application and deliver accurate, customer‑focused solutions.
• Perform client account and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain service delivery standards in line with agreed SLAs.
• Support sales staff with salary packaging knowledge and help prepare communications.
• Assist Accounts Receivable with payment collection.
• Build relationships with payroll, HR, and finance stakeholders.
• Engage with customers on FBT reporting expectations and help prepare annual FBT reports.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in salary packaging, payroll, or accounting.
• Strong initiative, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), especially for motor vehicles.
• Understanding of salary packaging processes and accrual accounting principles.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word.
