Safety Manager (Expression of Interest)

About the role

ACCIONA, a global company developing regenerative infrastructure, is issuing an expression of interest for Safety Managers to join its NSW business. The role sits within a Tier 1 contractor and offers career growth and development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and the required reports for HSEQ across the project
• Coordinate and carry out regular audits and inspections covering management systems, safe work procedures, behavioural safety and preventative measures
• Carry out thorough risk assessments of tasks and activities
• Give timely and expert advice and assistance on safety, quality and environmental matters
• Lead the review and continuous improvement of safety documentation

Required profile

• Tertiary level or equivalent qualification in WH&S management
• 7 to 10 years of operational experience applying safety management principles
• Lead Auditor qualifications in WH&S management systems
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others

Required skills

• Working knowledge of HS&E and Work Cover requirements and implementation
• Knowledge of process auditing principles and practices
