Room Attendant – Boutique Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Olsen Melbourne – Art Series is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join its Housekeeping team. You will ensure guest rooms are immaculate and welcoming, contributing to a memorable boutique‑luxury experience for visitors to Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and sanitising surfaces.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, restocking supplies and keeping equipment organised.
• Handle cleaning materials safely and follow all health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to the relevant department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cleaning or room‑attendant roles is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and efficient time‑management.
• Physical ability to navigate stairs and walk between rooms throughout a shift.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
