Roof Plumber – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

DCOH is seeking experienced roof plumbers to join our team in Darwin, delivering high‑quality roofing, drainage and cladding solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair roofing, gutters, downpipes, safety mesh, insulation, vapour barriers and flashings according to plan specifications.
• Fabricate and shape metal sheeting and flashings as required, and interpret construction drawings to determine materials and workflows.
• Work under the supervision of the Roofing Supervisor and Site Supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards.
• Identify and promptly escalate technical issues, and provide guidance and training to apprentice roof plumbers and trades assistants.
• Strictly adhere to OHSE requirements, including PPE use, hazard reporting and participation in toolbox meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in roof installation and construction.
• Australian citizenship for security clearance.
• Certificate IV in Roof Plumbing (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid White Card, High Risk Work licence, Elevating Work Platform licence, driver’s licence and National Police Clearance.
• Competent in working at heights and preferably trained in First Aid.
