About the role
A mining company is looking for an experienced roller operator with labouring experience for a major site access road project. The position is based in Rockhampton or Townsville on a 9/5 roster of 11-hour day shifts, and is advertised as a casual role at $60 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Operate rollers on a major site access road project
- Carry out general labouring tasks
Required profile
- Relevant experience operating rollers
- Current Roller RII
- Valid Coal Board medical and Standard 11 certification (highly regarded)
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dedication to shared goals, high ethical standards and a commitment to exceeding expectations
