Construction Worker Band C (Supervisor)

About the role

RoadTek is looking for an experienced Construction Worker (Supervisor) to lead teams delivering road construction and maintenance projects in Rockhampton. You will work closely with the Project Manager, clients and stakeholders to coordinate resources and ensure safe, quality outcomes for Queensland communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with projects through all phases of the project cycle.
• Supervise and support project teams to achieve project outcomes.
• Coordinate labour, plant and equipment to meet project requirements.
• Support project planning and maintain daily project records.
• Coach team members and support their skills development.
• Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Contribute practical solutions to project challenges.
• Support employees participating in the Civil Trades Development Program.

Required profile

• Practical experience and knowledge of road construction and/or maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Understanding of project management principles and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Current Queensland C class driver’s licence.
• Certificate III in Civil Construction (or ability to acquire required competencies within 36 months).
• Willingness to travel to other locations as required.
