Robotics Product Specialist (Expression of Interest)

About the role

This Expression of Interest seeks a Robotics Product Specialist to support orthopaedic surgeons in planning and executing robotic‑assisted hip and knee replacements using Stryker’s Mako system. The role combines clinical expertise with technical acumen in a fast‑paced operating theatre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the in‑theatre expert for Mako‑assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
• Conduct pre‑operative CT‑based planning to assist in surgical case preparation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
• Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.

Required profile

• Strong clinical background with experience in orthopaedic support, biomedical science/engineering, medical devices, operating theatre nursing, physiotherapy, allied health, or paramedicine.
• Passion for surgical innovation and ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Mako robotic system.
• Experience in CT‑based surgical planning.
