Rigging Supervisor – EOI

About the role

EnerMech is seeking experienced Rigging Supervisors for upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project opportunities across the Gladstone region. You will lead rigging crews, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations in heavy‑industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise rigging, dogging, lifting, crane, shutdown, maintenance and project work scopes.
• Lead crews, coordinate daily activities, resources and priorities.
• Review lift plans, permits, risk assessments and work packs before execution.
• Ensure lifting equipment is inspected, prepared and used according to site requirements.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity and schedule performance across work fronts.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Rigging Supervisor or similar site leadership role.
• Strong background in shutdowns, maintenance, turnarounds and project work within heavy industry.
• Current High Risk Work Licence with Intermediate or Advanced Rigging and Dogging qualifications.
• Experience in LNG, oil & gas, mining, resources or power generation environments.

Required skills

• High Risk Work Licence (Intermediate/Advanced Rigging, Dogging).
• Knowledge of lift planning, rigging methodology and safe work practices.
• Ability to lead crews safely and communicate effectively with site stakeholders.
• Current driver’s licence and relevant site inductions (working at heights, confined space, EWP, gas testing, first aid).
