Revit / CAD Technician – Design Support

About the role

Airport Development Group is seeking a Revit / CAD Technician to provide design support for capital works, terminal upgrades and infrastructure projects at Darwin International Airport. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will help produce and maintain accurate architectural documentation and BIM models.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and update Revit and AutoCAD drawings for terminal, airside and landside projects.
• Develop and maintain Revit models throughout project lifecycles.
• Support BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Prepare as‑constructed drawings and keep airport site and precinct plans current.
• Manage drawing registers, document control and digital drawing libraries.
• Assist with design submissions, consultant coordination and construction documentation.
• Participate in design meetings and site inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM standards, templates and workflows.

Required profile

• Qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience using Revit and AutoCAD in construction or infrastructure environments.
• Experience preparing technical documentation for architectural or multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong attention to detail and document‑control skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Understanding of design development and project delivery processes.
