About the role
Mitre 10 Queanbeyan is looking for several casual Retail Team Members to join its team. The positions involve rosters of 10 to 20 hours per week, Monday through Sunday.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, help customers with their orders and give fast, efficient service
- Put away stock, mainly hardware products
- Support with admin tasks as required
- Handle stock and store merchandising
- Ensure the health and safety of staff, customers and contractors within the department
Required profile
- Strong customer focus and ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Availability across a 7-day rotating roster, including at least one weekend day
- Hardware and retail background is an advantage but not essential
