Retail Store Manager – Sydney

About the role

Sephora is looking for a dynamic retail manager to lead one of its flagship stores in Sydney on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for delivering the brand’s prestige beauty experience, driving sales performance and developing a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a role model by embodying Sephora’s DNA and delivering a curated, innovative beauty experience to customers.
• Drive a selling culture, exceed KPIs and coach team members to improve performance.
• Interpret reporting data and support operational decisions in partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Provide clear feedback and maintain open communication with the team and management.
• Serve as Manager in Charge (MIC) for client and cast-member matters, making confident store decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee all product categories – beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness – and manage sales, back-of-house and visual merchandising functions.

Required profile

• Previous retail management experience, including profit & loss, sales forecasting, people management, training, stock control and visual merchandising.
• Willingness to work a 38-hour rotating roster to meet store needs.
• Hands-on leadership style with a passion for client service and experiential retail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and reporting.
