Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

On the Lane Swimwear and Clothing is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join its team in Broome, Western Australia. This is a full-time position in the Kimberley region, focused on delivering excellent customer service and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and give knowledgeable product advice to help them buy
• Process sales accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Maintain store presentation by restocking shelves, organising displays and keeping prices clear
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally
• Help with inventory management, including stock counts and monitoring stock levels
• Promote special offers, loyalty programmes and new products
• Keep the store clean, safe and welcoming, and follow company policies and health and safety rules
• Support the team in reaching sales targets and store objectives

Required profile

• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in sales
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for good customer service
• Reliable and able to work weekends and public holidays as required
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift and stock goods

Required skills

• Comfort using point-of-sale and retail systems
• Basic numeracy and attention to detail
• Teamwork, problem solving and organisation
