About the role

Reece is offering a 18-month Retail Leadership Graduate Program for Tasmania, starting in February 2027, open to candidates across Australia and New Zealand. The program builds the skills needed to begin a career in retail management and prepares participants to succeed as an Assistant Branch Manager. No industry experience is expected, although retail or customer service experience is an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Learn to run a retail branch as if it were your own, covering all aspects of branch operations
• Provide advice on products and services such as plumbing, sustainable clean water, energy efficiency, HVAC, sanitation, bathroom, kitchen, irrigation, pools, civil, design and building products
• Take part in rotations across select specialty business units

Required profile

• Growth mindset, with a love of learning and continual improvement
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to use emotional intelligence to build strong relationships
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks and keep the customer first
• Proven ability to identify and solve problems with good judgement
