Retail Leadership Graduate Program

About the role

The Retail Leadership Graduate Program at Reece is an 18-month program designed to prepare participants for a career in retail management, with a start date of February 2027. It covers all aspects of running a retail branch and aims to equip graduates to succeed as Assistant Branch Managers. The program is open to applicants across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Learn to run a retail branch as if it were your own, through rotations around select specialty business units
• Advise customers on products and services such as plumbing, sustainable clean water, energy efficiency, HVAC, sanitation, bathroom, kitchen, irrigation, pools, civil, design and building products
• Provide a blended learning experience: a 5-day induction, group learning, digital learning tools, on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring

Required profile

• No industry experience expected; retail or customer service experience is an advantage
• Growth mindset, with a love of learning and continuous improvement
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to use emotional intelligence to build strong relationships
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks and keep the customer first
• Proven ability to identify and solve problems with good judgement
