Retail Assistant – Optical & Luxury Eyewear

About the role

Join the OPSM team in Bundaberg as a Retail Assistant, supporting customers through every step of their eye‑care journey. You will help clients from the initial consultation and pre‑testing to selecting and customizing high‑fashion frames from luxury brands.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through eye examinations and frame selection.
• Assist with fitting, adjusting, and dispensing optical lenses.
• Promote and sell luxury eyewear brands such as Ray‑Ban, Oakley, Prada, and others.
• Maintain a welcoming retail environment and ensure product presentation meets brand standards.
• Process transactions and manage inventory of frames and lenses.

Required profile

• Retail experience – optical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and a quick learner.
• Passion for helping customers see clearly and enjoy fashion.
• Interest in high‑fashion and luxury eyewear.
