Restaurant Team Leader (Pre-Opening)

About the role

Andaz Gold Coast is seeking energetic Restaurant Team Leaders to guide colleagues through the pre‑opening phase and deliver memorable dining experiences. You will be hands‑on on the floor, welcoming guests, supporting busy service periods and helping the team find their rhythm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including table allocation, reservations, service flow and guest requests.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, beverage service, cleanliness and safety.
• Coach colleagues on product knowledge, service standards and confident guest interactions.
• Support stock control, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and collaborate with culinary, stewarding and other hotel teams.

Required profile

• Experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel leadership role with a genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and the ability to stay calm and positive during busy periods.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate or ability to obtain one, and ongoing working rights for Australia.
