Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Summerland Farm, a hospitality, tourism, wedding and events destination set in the Ballina hinterland, is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Supervisor. You will lead the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, working closely with the Head Chef and Operations Manager to deliver strong service, financial performance and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations across front and back of house
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences that encourage repeat visitation
• Coach and develop a diverse hospitality team, including supported employees
• Manage rosters, labour, stock and operational performance
• Work with the Head Chef to optimise menus and food costs
• Support weddings, functions and tourism experiences
• Drive continuous improvement across service, efficiency and profitability

Required profile

• Experience leading a restaurant, café or hospitality venue
• A hands-on leadership style and passion for customer service
• Strong operational and commercial skills
• Confidence leading teams through busy service periods
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in functions or events (desirable)
