Restaurant Manager – Lead Exceptional Dining Experiences

About the role

Mt Bera Vineyards is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of its restaurant in the Adelaide Hills. The role involves managing a 7‑day lunch service and occasional evening events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant and front‑of‑house operations, including staffing and labour costs.
• Train, mentor and develop staff on food, beverage, wine and service standards.
• Conduct stock takes, inventory management and ordering of beverages, supplies and consumables.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
• Host wine tastings, degustations and support planning of private functions and special events.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leader.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for hospitality, food and wine.
• Current RSA certification and Responsible Persons Badge.

Required skills

• Experience in staff training and team development.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
