Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead day‑to‑day operations at One Dining’s contemporary venue in Darling Harbour, Sydney. This full‑time, on‑site role ensures high‑quality service for both regular dining and private events hosting 80–170 guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front‑of‑house staff, service standards and guest flow.
• Coordinate reservations, event logistics and smooth execution of private and corporate functions.
• Supervise staff performance, provide coaching and handle customer feedback.
• Work closely with kitchen and events teams, manage stock and produce basic operational reports.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and professional response to guest needs.
• Effective communication for coordinating front‑of‑house, kitchen and events teams.
• Proven experience hiring, training, scheduling and supervising hospitality staff.
• Solid understanding of food & beverage operations, menu knowledge and inventory practices.
• Previous management experience in a high‑volume or upscale restaurant or event venue.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Relevant hospitality or business qualification is beneficial.
