Residential Life Manager - Student Accommodation

About the role

Studeo Melbourne, a new design-led student accommodation community managed by UniLodge and located on Bourke Street in Melbourne, is looking for a Residential Life Manager. You will lead the development of a welcoming, inclusive and engaging environment where students feel supported and connected, working closely with residents and internal teams on wellbeing initiatives, community programs and resident engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and ongoing enhancement of programs and events that support wellbeing, community engagement and student success.
• Recruit, train, coach and support Residential Advisors to deliver resident support and foster a positive community culture.
• Monitor resident wellbeing, provide guidance and referrals, and collaborate with university and community support services.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and respectful environment that promotes belonging, diversity and connection.
• Build strong relationships with university partners, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve positive resident outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Experience in a similar role, with strong wellbeing awareness and mental health literacy.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills, able to manage competing priorities during peak periods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia, current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (VIC).
