Reservations Administrator

About the role

Journey Beyond, Australia's leading experiential tourism group, is looking for a Reservations Administrator for its Red Cat Adventures and Whitsundays Jet Ski Tours business in the Whitsundays. The role ensures a seamless, exceptional guest experience by administering the end-to-end reservation process efficiently and building relationships with external and internal stakeholders to maximise booking opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the end-to-end reservation process
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide information
• Confirm, manage, process and cancel bookings
• Process payments and coordinate services
• Provide regular reporting and liaise with other tourism organisations
• Collect and document customer feedback

Required profile

• Desirable: qualification in Travel or Tourism
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a reservations role
• Proven customer service or sales experience, preferably in travel or tourism
• Understanding of digital sales and marketing channels for the travel and tourism industry, trade and direct
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Local knowledge of the Whitsunday region and market

• Proficiency in reservation and CRM systems
• Strong organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Sales-orientated mindset with the ability to upsell and meet sales targets
