Remote Draftsperson (Australia)

About the role

Teams Squared, a team augmentation company that connects remote talent with global organisations, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to collaborate with Australian architects. This is a fully remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings, plans and technical documentation using ArchiCAD.
• Interpret and develop designs from architectural sketches, concepts and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to refine drawings.
• Help prepare documentation for planning and building approvals.
• Check drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Manage several drafting projects at once while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in architectural drafting or a related field preferred.
• Experience creating detailed architectural drawings with ArchiCAD.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
