Remediation NFRI SME

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Remediation NFRI SME to join its risk and remediation team. The role will act as a Journey Expert and subject‑matter expert for Non‑Financial Risk Issue (NFRI) tooling, driving modernisation of end‑to‑end remediation journeys and ensuring regulatory, customer and governance outcomes are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead remediation activities for complex NFRIs and translate risk findings, audit outcomes and regulatory requirements into actionable plans.
• Map and optimise remediation journeys, identifying tooling and process modernisation opportunities.
• Partner with business, risk, technology and data teams to define scope, impacts and solutions for the NFRI tooling modernisation roadmap.
• Facilitate workshops, monitor progress, manage risks and governance, and support root‑cause analysis and reporting.
• Work with Technology and Data Engineering to consolidate tooling onto cloud platforms, build governed data assets and enable straight‑through remediation processing.

Required profile

• Experience in remediation, operational risk, compliance, audit or non‑financial risk management.
• Strong understanding of NFRI frameworks, issue management and remediation methodologies.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills in fast‑paced, complex environments.
