Product Operations Lead

About the role

The Product Operations Lead will head the Product Operations team within ANZ’s Credit Cards division. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Cards, this permanent position is based in Docklands, Melbourne and is responsible for strengthening the resilience and efficiency of the credit‑cards portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of four domain specialists, establishing standards, governance and operating disciplines.
• Oversee complex and escalated enquiries, ensuring swift resolution and root‑cause remediation.
• Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, automating manual tasks and enhancing monitoring and exception reporting.
• Represent the Credit Cards product in change initiatives and major transformation programmes, collaborating with Product, Technology, Legal, Risk and Operations.
• Support business growth aligned with ANZ’s 2030 strategy by delivering scalable and sustainable solutions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in product operations or similar functions within a regulated financial services environment.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
