Remedial Massage Therapist

About the role

Broome Holiday Massage in Broome, Western Australia is looking for a full-time Remedial Massage Therapist to join its team. The role focuses on treating problem areas, improving circulation and relaxing muscle tension so that clients can heal, perform better in sport and stay injury-free.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out detailed client consultations about the problem areas
• Give clients a treatment plan with lifestyle changes and exercise to improve blood circulation and relax muscles
• Massage soft tissues such as muscles and tendons using a variety of techniques
• Use complementary techniques such as acupressure, essential oils, cupping, herbal therapy or dry needling to help recovery
• Assess clients' physical condition and medical history to ensure appropriate care
• Recommend stretching exercises and relaxation techniques for clients to practise at home

Required profile

• Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy
• At least 3 years of full-time massage experience
• High level of adaptability and a positive can-do attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent massage service
• Flexibility to work extra shifts, including holidays and sickness, when needed

What we offer

• Annual salary from $79,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation for a suitable candidate
• Full-time permanent contract
