Relocations Consultant (Transitions Consultant)

About the role

Toll Group's Government & Defence division offers relocation services to government clients, and this position focuses on delivering those services in line with contractual requirements. The role involves visiting clients' residences to assess the scope and complexity of their move, and supports the Regional and RSC Management with the day-to-day management of the Defence Account, including reporting, invoicing and client presentations. It is an internal title of Transitions Consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and complete on-site visits to clients' residences to determine the scope and complexity of their move through inventory analysis, customer service visits, loss and damage assessments, and storehouse and supplier inspections.
• Build strong relationships with providers, set up review mechanisms and promote solutions that meet contract requirements.
• Work with a working knowledge of provider contractual documentation, including SOR and Minimum Standards.
• Understand client culture and resolve service delivery issues quickly.
• Promote a safe working environment, conduct safety conversations and help ensure a fit-for-purpose move.
• Liaise with Case Managers and leadership on day-to-day service issues.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, handle sensitive information and work autonomously.
• Spatial estimation skills and a good understanding of industry loading, packing and handling practices, or willingness to learn them.
• Customer service experience showing empathy, patience and listening skills.
• Knowledge of the Transitions industry, or willingness to learn it.
• Ability to build rapport with people at all levels and engage stakeholders positively.
• Open car licence, as domestic travel is required.
• Entitlement to work in Australia and willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
