Relationship (Strata) Manager

About the role

Smarter Communities, one of Australia's largest privately owned community management companies, is looking for an experienced Strata or Owners Corporation Manager to lead its relationship side of the business. The company manages over $30 billion in property across NSW, QLD, SA and VIC, and backs the manager with a customer connect team, a customer operations team and a national repairs and maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of properties and act as the main contact for owners, tenants and contractors
• Deliver a strong customer experience and build long-term client relationships
• Explain bylaws and strata legislation to stakeholders
• Handle correspondence from owners, tenants and contractors
• Work with the Repairs & Maintenance team to coordinate quotes and work orders
• Prepare and run AGMs, EGMs and committee meetings, including agendas, budgets and minutes
• Manage client retention, including first-level complaints and problem resolution
• Oversee financials and ensure compliance across the portfolio
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation

Required profile

• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Collaborative, empathetic mindset and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
