Property Officer - Asset Maintenance Planning

About the role

Beaumont People is recruiting a Property Officer to support the development of a long-term asset maintenance strategy across a diverse residential property portfolio. This is a project-focused role in which you will analyse property condition data, identify maintenance and renewal requirements and help create a comprehensive 10-year asset maintenance plan, working closely with property professionals and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse property inspections, condition reports and maintenance records to identify maintenance and capital renewal requirements.
• Assist in preparing long-term maintenance forecasts, budgets and asset planning schedules.
• Conduct property assessments and provide indicative cost estimates for future maintenance works.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand property needs, maintenance priorities and future planning requirements.
• Liaise with contractors and consultants on maintenance projects and recommendations.
• Support improvements to asset management systems, records and processes.
• Assist with coordinating and following up maintenance and repair works across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Experience in property, construction, building maintenance, asset management, facilities management or a related field.
• Ability to analyse property or asset data and turn findings into practical maintenance plans.
• Experience identifying maintenance, repair and replacement requirements and estimating associated costs.
• Highly organised, with strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current driver's licence.
• Qualifications in property, building, construction, asset management or a related discipline are highly regarded; experience in community housing, social housing, residential property or long-term asset planning is advantageous.
