Residential Development Services Manager

About the role

Maas Group Holdings is seeking an experienced, commercially focused Residential Development Services Manager to lead residential development projects from concept to completion. Reporting to the General Manager, the role manages the development lifecycle so projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with business objectives, working with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, government agencies and landowners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential developments from acquisition through to completion
• Coordinate planning approvals, rezoning applications, subdivision approvals and compliance requirements
• Engage and manage consultants, surveyors, engineers, planners, contractors and authorities
• Monitor project budgets, feasibility assessments, cash flow forecasts and financial performance
• Manage project programs, milestones and risk mitigation strategies
• Support land acquisition and due diligence, and facilitate stakeholder engagement with councils, utility providers, government agencies and community groups
• Prepare and present project reports, recommendations and updates to senior management
• Identify opportunities to improve outcomes and maximise return on investment

Required profile

• Experience in residential property development, land development, civil construction, town planning or a related field
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple development projects at once
• Strong understanding of NSW planning processes, development approvals and regulatory requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Engineering, Town Planning, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
