Relationship Account Manager - Fleet Management

About the role

Toyota Finance Australia (TFA) is looking for a driven, customer-focused Relationship Account Manager to join its Toyota Fleet Management team. You will build, nurture and grow strategic customer relationships, helping drive business growth, customer retention and long-term profitability. The role is based in Subiaco and is a maximum-term position until December 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customers, increasing penetration across the Toyota family and value chain
• Drive customer retention, business expansion and upsell opportunities across fleet management and mobility solutions, including KINTO
• Achieve sales and performance targets across settlements, margins, fee income and other key business measures
• Develop and maintain strategic Customer Value Plans to identify growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships
• Analyse fleet portfolio data to deliver tailored recommendations and customised solutions
• Build relationships with customers, dealers, suppliers and OneToyota partners
• Run customer meetings, business reviews and presentations
• Manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance in credit, arrears, residual values and acceptable goods requirements

Required profile

• Experience or knowledge in fleet management, finance and/or the automotive industry
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to build credibility and influence at all levels
• Excellent organisation and time management, able to work autonomously and balance competing priorities
• Proactive, self-motivated and passionate about building lasting customer relationships

Required skills

• Consultative, commercially minded approach with strong questioning skills
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, confident leading customer meetings and business reviews
