Rehabilitation Consultant - Physiotherapist / OT / Exercise Physiologist

About the role

Kairros, a provider of return-to-work services for people with injury, illness, disability and disadvantage, is looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant in Griffith. The role suits someone with a professional background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology who wants to work in occupational rehabilitation. It is a part-time position offering flexibility and autonomy to structure your day.

Key responsibilities

• Work with injured workers, employers and medical and allied health professionals across workers compensation, Compulsory Third Party, Comcare and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
• Help employers and employees develop injury prevention and workplace education programs and support return to health and work.
• Conduct worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, functional capacity evaluations and workmatch assessments to assess current capacity, pre-injury duty goals and suitable duties.
• Liaise with treating parties and stakeholders to create tailored graded return to work plans.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• Full AHPRA registration or full ESSA accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist.
• Current NSW driver's licence and access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.
