Rehabilitation Consultant - OHS Essentials

About the role

WorkFocus, a work and wellness provider, is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Chiropractor or Physiotherapist to join its Melbourne team as a Rehabilitation Consultant for OHS Essentials. You will provide workplace rehabilitation services that help clients regain their independence and return to work.

Key responsibilities

• Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers
• Carry out worksite, functional and OHS assessments
• Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes suitable for all parties
• Design, implement and monitor programs that help injured employees return to the workforce

Required profile

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
• Knowledge of OHS (Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety highly desirable)
• Willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver's licence are required
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, punctuality and time management
