Rehabilitation Consultant

About the role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant at Konekt, you will support individuals facing mental health, psychosocial, injury‑related or health challenges to build confidence, overcome barriers and achieve their employment and wellbeing goals across the Brisbane metro region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one rehabilitation and vocational support to clients experiencing injury, illness, mental health or psychosocial barriers.
• Conduct assessments, identify barriers and strengths, and develop tailored rehabilitation, wellbeing and employment plans.
• Provide face‑to‑face support sessions across Sunshine Coast locations and facilitate workshops or group sessions.
• Build strong relationships with employers, healthcare providers, insurers and community stakeholders.
• Offer expert advice on workplace adjustments, injury management and return‑to‑work planning.
• Manage cases end‑to‑end with high‑quality documentation, reporting and customer service.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work.
• Registration with AHPRA (including Provisional Psychologists) or relevant professional membership.
• Strong communication, engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Collaborative, proactive and client‑centred approach.
• Current driver’s licence, valid Working with Children Check and ability to pass a National Criminal History Check.

• Ability to engage with employers, community organisations and referral partners.
