Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery (Neonatal)

About the role

A busy Level 4 Neonatal Nursery at Campbelltown Hospital is looking for an experienced neonatal nurse to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves caring for newborns requiring advanced respiratory support, including CPAP, and supporting babies and their families in a fast-paced, family-centred environment. It is a permanent full-time position of 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Care for neonates requiring advanced respiratory support, including CPAP, and develop this specialised skill within a supportive team
• Support babies and their families through compassionate, family-centred care
• Apply a high level of attention to detail to support safe, effective and high-quality care
• Contribute to a 24/7 rotating roster service structure

Required profile

• Demonstrated neonatal nursing experience
• Current authority to practice as a registered nurse with AHPRA
• Ability to work flexibly and reliably in a 24/7 rotating roster
• Attention to detail, critical thinking and clinical judgement

• Remuneration of $81,748.17 to $114,771.98 per year plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging
