About the role

Hyson Green, a private 48-bed mental health facility within Calvary Bruce Private Hospital, is recruiting Registered Nurses for Level 1 mental health care. The role provides holistic, patient-centred care that promotes psychological, emotional and physical wellbeing. Permanent full-time positions are available, with exceptional internal and external learning and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Evidence of ongoing professional development through education and training relevant to clinical practice.
• Demonstrated high level of written and communication skills.
• Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
• Highly desirable: postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or working towards it.
• Highly desirable: knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
• Highly desirable: previous experience in a mental health setting.
