Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, Physio, AEP)

About the role

Konekt, part of the APM Group, is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Registered Nurse in Canberra to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions. The role helps people return to meaningful employment and supports individuals and organisations in achieving their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the treatment and rehabilitation needs of workers with work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses
• Support clients to identify future employment or training options
• Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise, including ergonomic assessments, initial needs assessments and scheme-based assessments
• Manage cases effectively, planning, coordinating and monitoring client progress toward return-to-work goals
• Engage with key stakeholders and build partnerships that support successful outcomes

Required profile

• Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA; registered nurses must hold accreditation with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• Current Working with Children Check
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check on successful application
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with compassion and a focus on client care
