Registered Nurse – Medical Imaging

About the role
Join the Medical Imaging team at Royal Hobart Hospital as a Registered Nurse. You will support patients and families through diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in Tasmania’s only Level 6 medical imaging service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Angiography procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality‑focused care.
- Deliver 24/7 on‑call support for emergency interventional procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with patients, families and health professionals.
Required profile
- Current registration as a Nurse and knowledge of nursing principles for diagnostic and interventional imaging.
- Ability to work in accordance with legal, policy and radiation safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to provide on‑call support for emergency procedures.
