Registered Nurse – General Practice (Yamanto)

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Yamanto Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform immunisations, injections and triage assessments.
• Manage wounds, chronic diseases and conduct ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide support and reassurance to patients.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate treatment‑room activities, including stock control, sterilisation and equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection‑control practices and assist with reception and practice‑management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional, compassionate attitude with a sense of urgency.
• Valid police check, Working with Children clearance, First Aid/CPR certificate, immunisation record and photo ID.

Required skills

• ECG interpretation.
• Administration of immunisations and injections.
• Use of Best Practice clinical software.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms.
