Registered Nurse – General Practice

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Lismore Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage assessments and manage wound care.
• Provide chronic disease management and conduct ECGs.
• Explain procedures to patients, offering support and reassurance.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate the treatment room – stock control, instrument sterilisation, equipment maintenance.
• Implement infection‑control practices and assist with reception and practice‑management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Team‑oriented, caring and collaborative approach to patient care.
• Sense of urgency, compassion and a strong work ethic.
