Registered Midwife

About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba, the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs, is looking for an experienced Registered Midwife to join its maternity team. You will support women and their families through every stage of pregnancy and birth, providing compassionate, family-centred care within a multidisciplinary team. The role is available on a permanent part-time basis, ideally 36 hours per week, with flexible rostering.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife; dual registration as Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse is highly regarded
• Ability to work permanently part-time, ideally 36 hours per week
• Positive team attitude, willingness to support others and solve problems efficiently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of professional, ethical and legal requirements
• Current clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability
