Registered Architect – Perth Studio

About the role

MODE is seeking an experienced, registered Architect to join its Perth studio. The role involves working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality design, documentation and construction outcomes for a variety of sectors across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development and construction documentation for assigned projects.
• Mentor and oversee junior architects and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure design intent and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to conceptual design, design development and detailed documentation phases.
• Maintain project schedules, quality standards and budgetary constraints.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Architecture recognised in Australia.
• Current Architectural Registration.
• Strong knowledge of local, state and national planning regulations, legislation and construction codes.
• Project experience in at least one of the following sectors: Defence (clearance required), Education, Health, Community/Public Works.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of BIM coordination and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project stages from concept to construction.
• Strong stakeholder communication and interpersonal abilities.
