Registered Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Architect to lead and contribute to a diverse portfolio of residential, heritage conservation, commercial and government projects. The successful candidate will work closely with Directors, Associates and the wider team, taking ownership of projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor architects and graduates across all project stages, from concept design to construction documentation.
• Prepare and present design proposals, documentation packages and contract administration materials to directors, clients and stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation of Development Application (DA) and tendering/construction documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including consultants, engineers, councils, certifiers and clients.
• Manage project resources, schedules and architectural fees.
• Collaborate with directors on design development and ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.
• Support and guide junior team members throughout the studio.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of architectural practice.
• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD (preferred) or Revit.
• Strong contract documentation and detailing abilities.
• Good working knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
• Ability to work independently with clients and consultants.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management, design and communication skills.
• Heritage project experience is highly valued.
