Regional Experience Specialist (6 Month Fixed Term)

About the role

Telstra is looking for a Project Coordinator - Regional Engagement to join its team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in the Bendigo office and supporting Western Victoria. You will work alongside regional leaders, community partners and key stakeholders to coordinate projects, support customer advocacy initiatives and deliver engagement activities that strengthen Telstra's presence in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate regional projects, operational priorities and engagement activities across Western Victoria.
• Support customer advocacy and stakeholder engagement, managing enquiries, community issues and customer escalations.
• Coordinate executive visits, leadership forums, meetings, community events and regional engagement programs.
• Prepare business communications, reports, briefing papers and presentations that support decision-making and project delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with local government, community organisations, business groups, industry associations and regional stakeholders.
• Support governance, reporting and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Experience supporting projects, stakeholder engagement, business operations or community initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset and a genuine interest in supporting regional communities.

Required skills

• Experience using Microsoft 365 applications and digital collaboration tools.
