Refrigeration Mechanic – FIFO 2:1 Roster – Brisbane

About the role

Join Sodexo’s Facility Maintenance team as a Refrigeration Mechanic on a FIFO 2:1 roster in Brisbane. You will be responsible for keeping refrigeration equipment operating safely and efficiently across domestic and commercial sites, supporting the comfort and wellbeing of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimise downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks in line with safety and compliance standards.
• Respond to service calls promptly and document all work performed.
• Work on‑site for two weeks followed by one week off, adhering to FIFO schedule.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification(s) and certificates; QBCC registration essential or obtainable.
• Australian citizenship or full working rights.
• 3–5 years post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical and background checks.
• Flexible, safety‑focused attitude and ability to relocate at personal expense if required.
