About the role

Pace Appointments QLD, 2026, a boutique recruitment agency, is adding a Recruitment Consultant to its busy trades team. The position is based at the Hamilton office and sits within an established manufacturing portfolio with active roles, trusted client relationships and an existing candidate network. No recruitment background is required; the agency will train the right person.

Key responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with existing manufacturing clients
Understand client hiring needs and take job briefs
Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
Run the recruitment process from brief to placement
Juggle multiple roles and priorities at once

Required profile

Confident on the phone with strong customer service skills; customer service experience is ideal
Previous recruitment or resourcer experience is a bonus, not a must
Results-driven, proactive approach and commercial mindset
Able to build relationships, solve problems and manage several priorities
Keen to build a long-term career in recruitment
